The service is currently operating over the phone and online. We primarily offer 121 support to family members so they can work through the impact substance misuse has on their life and how to cope with their family member in a private setting. We also offer evidence-based group programmes online that focus on developing skills and understanding of substance misuse such as 5 step model and community reinforcement and family training.

Give relevant information on drugs, alcohol, and the effects substance misuse has on individuals and the family to both concerned people and other professionals working with substance misuse issues.
The provision of family support programmes such as 5-Step and CRAFT. 5-Step is a programme working with the stress and strain substance misuse has on a family member. CRAFT is a family programme developing skills such as communication and problem solving. Other tools used include Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mental Health 1st Aid, Mindfulness and Self-care.
